Cancellation Policy

1. Guest Cancellations

Each property on List My City has its own cancellation policy set by the host. Cancellation policies are displayed during the booking process. Guests should review the policy before confirming their reservation.

2. Cancellation Policy Types

Flexible

Full refund if cancelled at least 1 day before check-in.

Moderate

Full refund if cancelled at least 7 days before check-in. 50% refund if cancelled 3-7 days before check-in.

Strict

Full refund only if cancelled at least 30 days before check-in. 50% refund if cancelled 14-30 days before check-in. Non-refundable if cancelled within 14 days of check-in.

3. Refund Processing

Refunds are processed within 5-7 business days after cancellation. Refunds are credited back to the original payment method. Stripe processing fees are non-refundable.

4. Extenuating Circumstances

List My City may consider refund exceptions for extraordinary circumstances beyond the guest's control (natural disasters, serious illness, etc.). Contact support with documentation for review.

5. Host Cancellations

Hosts should avoid cancellations after accepting a booking. If a host must cancel, guests receive:

  • Full refund of all charges
  • Help finding alternative accommodations
  • Potential listing penalty or suspension for repeated cancellations

6. Check-In Disputes

If a guest cannot access a property at check-in, hosts should be contacted immediately. List My City will mediate to find resolution, which may include refunds or alternative accommodations.

7. Property Unavailability

If a property becomes unavailable due to emergency repairs, hosts must cancel bookings and provide guests with full refunds plus assistance finding alternatives.

8. Changes to Policy

This policy may be updated at any time. Bookings confirmed before a policy change are governed by the policy in effect at booking time.

9. Disputes and Appeals

If you have a dispute about a cancellation or refund, contact List My City support at support@listmycity.us with details and documentation.
